From a long time ago there lived a flying fish in these places.

And the word of mouth was going around the whole Russia about that fish. But that fish was tricky and didn't come to the usual baits or to the nets. It was told to bring happiness and wealth to those who catch it.
And the most risky fishers decided to settle in these places. They were looking for the right place for a long time. And soon at the high bank of Volozhka river the fishers village stood up.

Our village

The bravest fisher had built a house for himself right on the water to be closer to the magic fish, and it was not just. He was very friendly and made four rooms on the second floor and he put there huge beds, he broought the TV sets there and even set up the cable TV programs. And so that his guests were more comfortable he made four toilets and the shower cabins. And he put downstairs soft and comfortable furniture and made the windows huge so that the guests could look and enjoy the river'e beauty. And he was not jelous and he put oin teh first floor also very big TV screen and karaoker set.

The road to the fishers village.

The village is located on the Volozhka river in Leninskiy part of Volgograd region, the village «Karshevitoe». To get there you need to get to the left bank of Volga river and get to the Volga-Ahtuba flood-lands.
The way from the center of Volgograd city is 98 miles: 27 km from Volgograd to Volzhsky, 16 km from Volzhsky city to Sredniaya Ahtuba, 30 km from Sredniaya Ahtuba to L:eninsk and 21 km from the turn through Volga-Ahtuba flood-lands and then 19 km to Karshevitoe.
