The village is located on the Volozhka river in Leninskiy part of Volgograd region, the village «Karshevitoe“. To get there you need to get to the left bank of Volga river and get to the Volga-Ahtuba flood-lands.
The way from the center of Volgograd city is 98 miles: 27 km from Volgograd to Volzhsky, 16 km from Volzhsky city to Sredniaya Ahtuba, 30 km from Sredniaya Ahtuba to L:eninsk and 21 km from the turn through Volga-Ahtuba flood-lands and then 19 km to Karshevitoe.

You can ask the way to this fishers village from any first stranger you meet.
And if you don't meet any one then the best is:

— Go through Volgograd following the first or second Prodolnaya street towards Volga hydro-electric power station
— Cross Volga hydro-electric power station with no stops (there are special signs there saying you can not take pictures)
— Come to Volzhsky city and following the main road go all the way through it (make sure you let the pedestrians cross the roads in their turn!:)) come into the Volzhskiy city and following the main road come to the Astrahan highway
— Go by Sredniaya Ahtuba (you will see the monument of the aircraft of natural size on your right)
— Come to Leninsk town (It takes 37 miles from Volzhskiy, and you will see grain-elevator оn your left)
— At the big cross-road (without any signs), near the store turn to the RIGHT.
— Near the shop you can relax a bit (:)) and buy some food (if you are brave enough buy the little pie in that shop!: ))
— Then you follow the Volga-Ahtubaflood-lands
— You can take a picture on the bridge over the Ahtuba river
— Be carefull at the channel Lemiashikha as sometimes highway men hide in there behind the sign saying “40 km/h»
— For most clever children: look carefully through the window and count the bridges over the channel, there will be (how much?) of them. Who gives the right answer will get a present!
— When you see the sign «Karshevitoe» turn to the LEFT and start on the wide village road (called earth road) and you follow it for 19 miles.
— Do not pay any attention to any other turns or curves of the road.
— Go past the village called Zubarevka
— Come into the Karshvitoe village following the main and the only road!
— Go by the shops, the post office and the club and living apartments and the monument for some good people (you will see the tower with the cell-communications antenna)
— Go towards the Volozhka river till you see the fishers village

from Volgograd:
— Cross Volga river by ferry-boat (it goes every 1,5 hours from 7: 00 a.m. From Volgograd)

from Krasnoslobodsk:
— Go from Krasnoslobodsk towards Sredniaya Ahtuba
— Cross the bridge over Ahtuba-river
— Do not turn anywhere go till you meet the highway to Astrahan-city
— When you see the Roads inspection post turn to the right and then you go straight to Leninsk-city
— from Leninsk: see above

By Volga-river:
— Take your own cutter, follow down the stream along the whole Volgograd city by the right side, passing the landing stages of Rudneva, Beketovka, Viazovaya Griva, Barbashi, Svetliy Yar, Gromky, Bulgakov; when you see island Solodnikovskiy to the right and small Solodnikovskiy to the left, get into the Volozhka river channel just before the Tzaralev flood, then you'll see the Fishers hous and you should moor
or
— Take «Zaria» ship inat the Central River Port in Volgograd or at the monument for Lenin in Krasnoarmeyskiy region (from May till September)
— Take a trip by Volga river
— Get off at the landing stage «Karshevitoe»
— TO YOUR RIGHT you will see fishers village, the house on the water and the sauna
